This coupon calendar arrived just in time, since the store closes at five. You hop in your car and cruise on down to the grocery store. "At least this also gets me out of the house," you think to yourself as you travel down the road.
Once you arrive, you check the other coupons out while sitting in the parking lot. There were no other ones for the grocery store, which was a shame, but there were a couple more for today as well. One was for the all-you-can-eat place downtown, and the other was for Leo's Pizza, 2 larges for the price of 1 medium. "Seriously," you think, "how did no one else bid on this?" Given your winning bid was only $8 plus shipping, it was a legitimate question. Oh well, their loss was your gain.
There were also deals for many of the places around your work. And what deals! Honestly, this felt like highway robbery. What this meant in a nutshell was that it was actually going to be cheaper for you to eat out at lunch, rather then make your own. You begin to think that maybe this was the reason that no one else bid on this book, because a lot of these deals sounded way too good to be true.
Inside the store, it doesn't take you long to find the sale brand you love. Making your way to the till, you pay for your sweet treat (after a brief delay while the clerk verified your coupon), and head back to your car. You decide to head home with your ice cream and get it in your freezer before it melts. A loud growl comes from your still empty stomach. That's right, I haven't eaten yet. I really should get some food. The question is where should I go?
