It was a beautiful Sunday morning in the town of St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Brittany awoke in her bed. The blonde, long-haired maiden yawned gently and looked toward the clock on her bedside. 11:30am. That's the longest she'd ever slept. Her pregnancy was making her more tired by the day. The gigantic fleshy mounds that were her breasts covered most of the bed. One of them had fallen to the side and was leaking milk. She had buckets to store the milk she produced, but it appeared she tipped over one of them in her sleep. She noticed her boyfriend, David wasn't in bed with her. She assumed he was making breakfast for her. She couldn't really make it herself anymore, on account of her condition. It had been a while since she was able to walk. She had a month left in her pregnancy, so she won't be bedridden for much longer.
Brittany was afflicted with a condition called hyperfertility. From what the doctors told her, 1 in 1 million women get this condition when they fall pregnant. Affected women become pregnant with many children, way above the average for a normal woman. Affected women give birth in half the time a normal woman would, breastmilk production occurs a month into the pregnancy and constantly increases until birth. An affected woman's breasts also increase in size in order to accommodate the milk needed to feed their many children.
Despite all the hardships that came with her condition, Brittany couldn't be happier. She was going to be a mother soon. A mother to so many babies that she would love, care for and protect. And she had a loving boyfriend to support her. She was sure David would be a wonderful father to the children. She rubbed her bloated belly, though there were no kicks in response to this so the babies must still be sleeping. She wondered how many babies were in there. She hoped it was as many as possible. She always wanted to be a mother. She had a caring, maternal spirit, which always saw her looking after her younger siblings, babysitting the neighborhood children and volunteering at the orphanage. She couldn't wait to see her own children soon.
