Chapter #4

The map

"Ha-ha, do you really expect me to believe that? That's just a little outrageous for my taste." At that time Mack came in the trailer, brimming with excitement. "You won't believe what we just found! Come with me and check this out." As they walked to the sight Paul said "Well, what is it?" You'll see when we get there" said Mack. "Awww, come on!", said Gina. "I am dying to know what it is!" Mack said "I won't even try to explain what it is, but I do believe that we will be the first to have found one!"


"Unbelievable", said Paul and Gina in unison. "So," said Celia, "what do you make of it?" Gina opened her mouth to talk, but could find no words to convey just what she thought. Paul said" I would never had guessed we would ever find a map of Atlantis here!" The most amazing thing about it was the fact that it was written in english, but had some strange hieroglyphics around the map itself. " "I can't wait to get the sub in the water", said Celia. "Me either", Mack said.



Mack and Celia were probably the only couple that owned a submarine for personal use. They have a great deal of money, acquired when they were the first couple to provide hard evidence that aliens had, in fact, visited the planet throughout history, and gave knowledge to the ancient world. The aliens provided the knowledge to build such things as the pyramids, the Nazca Plains, and architecture, all of which were a total mystery to
science. "So, when do we leave?" Paul asked Mack and Celia.

1. "We leave tomorrow, at dawn."

2. "We should stay until we know for sure the map is accurate."
