Chapter #6

Talking With Coach

    by: Theday Author IconMail Icon
"So are you ready to get your stats checked Sean?" Coach Stone asks with a grin on his face standing in front of Sean.
Sean attempts to get up, but the weight and size of his bloated belly holds him in place. He struggles to get up, but no avail," I'm stuck Coach."
Coach laughs quietly and says," No worries."
"Hey Coach, can I talk to you privately?" you whisper.
"Sure," Coach whispers back," Rest up Sean. We'll be back in a seconds."
Coach leads you to the apartment door and leads you outside.
"So what is it (insert your name here)?" he asks closing the door.
"It's you.." you say a little unsure how to proceed," The last time I saw you, you were dropping off a card for Mike at Christmas time. Now look at you," you say and look at his belly.
"I know, it's been a good couple of months," Coach says with a grin on his face and runs his hand over his belly and gives it a slap.
"How did you gain so much? I don't mean to pry, but.." you say feeling yourself blush from embarrassment.
"No worries, you see I was just like you, I had a big brother who was about twice my weight and no matter what I tried, I couldn't gain. Seems my metabolism completely crashed last winter and it's all catching up to me now, just look," Coach says and lifts up his shirt to expose his belly which showcases plenty of vertical stretch marks across his gut," Each stretch mark is a badge of honor in my books."
"That's amazing," you say looking at Coach's belly.
"Thanks," Coach says and drops his shirt.
"But what about Sean?" you ask.
"What about him?"
"You want him to gain well over 100 pounds for the season," you say knowing Sean's near the 200 pound mark.
"Yeah, he has the perfect build to become a defensive power house," Coach says," And that's what the team needs now. We don't have anyone like your brother or his friend Kyle in the roaster this year and Chad is really bad.."
Coach is right, your grade level doesn't have any big fat guys like your brother on your team. Sure there's Chad, but he's pretty dumb and clumsy on the field.
"That make sense," you say.
"Good, so are you going to help Sean?" Coach asks," I'm sure he needs a friend and help."
Sean was always a bully towards you and your friends, you have a hard time imagining you two being friends, but then again your sure that his regular friends aren't going to be hanging out with him for much longer when he starts to show his weight, well maybe Chad will stick around.
"I guess," you say.
"Good, I'm counting on you," Coach says putting his hands on your shoulders," Com'on, let's go see how's Sean is doing."
You open the door and walk back into the apartment to see that Sean has somehow risen to his feet and Coach directs him to the bathroom and shuts the door behind them.
While they're in the bathroom you decide to clean up the mess of leftover food.

After a couple of minutes the bathroom door opens and..

You have the following choices:

1. Coach leaves impressed and tells you two to keep up the good work?

2. Sean is furious about something?
