Chapter #6

Bad Choice

    by: Unknown
"Umm, you know what, this has a bad feel to it. I don't want to be part of some murder."

The little man frowned, and the shop seemed to grow darker. Smoke roiled around my feet, and the air chilled. I felt my teeth begin to chatter.

The man seemed to grow, his face lit up by some inner fire, "No one can leave!"

He extended his arms, and I saw that his fingertips were glowing purple. I saw a crackle of purple lightning, and then my world faded to black.

* * *

I opened my eyes, or well, I saw through my eyes. For some reason i wasn't able to physically move them. Or anything other part of myself for that matter.

I glanced around me. I was still in the shop, but everything seemed much bigger. The now not-so-little man looked over at me, and must've seen something about me to know that I was alive. He plucked something off the counter and hid it behind his back. He shuffled over to me.

He peered up at me and said, "Let's take a look shall we?"

A gilded silver hand mirror appeared from behind his back, and he stuck it in front of me. And if I could've gasped, I would've!

The nasty little man had turned me into a figurine dwarf! Oh well, at least I got what I wanted. I was a very rotund dwarf.

THE END.
