Chapter #4

The Sea Goddess Cometh

by: Dylan M Author IconMail Icon
Ranamon stomped off to another area, enjoying the terrified screams of the tiny digimon fleeing from her enormous feet. Within moments she arrived at her destination.Ranamon decided to have some fun with the puny digimon that were running from her. She took an monumental leap into the air, positioned her body for a massive belly-flop, and fell back toward the ground. The instant that the massive mermaid collided with the ground below, her body pulverized all of the surroundings into oblivion. Ranamon was completely oblivious to the sheer number of digimon that she had crushed out of existence with her little stunt. One (unfortunate?) digimon even wound up compressed between the giantess's colossal cleavage! Ranamon stood back up from the crater that her goddess-like form had left in the ground and looked down.

Feeling that wasn't enough, Ranamon knelt down and, cupping her massive hands, scooped up thousands of digimon in them and she stood to her full 200-foot-high, some attempting to escape, mostly those that could fly, but the panicked mob dragged them down, all shouting to be taken along, some attempting to attack her hands, but they didn't even register due to how large Ranamon was, and some attempted to climb up her fingers, but ended up falling and deleting themselves upon impact with the ground.

Laughing, Ranamon raised her hands over her head and tilted it backwards, her mouth open wide and tilted her hands so that the digimon in them were sent down into her waiting mouth, screaming all the while. She didn't even need to chew or worry about watching her figure, they were all so small compared to her as she gave them all the biggest honor she felt anyone could ever have; becoming a part of her.

As the numerous digimon disappeared down her gullet, the giantess felt a shift in her code, something that was so useful that her body had assimilated it. Curious, Ranamon twirled her finger in the air counterclockwise and her eyes widened as the state of the landscape reversed right before her eyes to before she'd done her belly-flop. Doing it again, this time clockwise, Ranamon watched as things fast-forward to how they were AFTER her dive.

Her eyes widened as the implications of that set in. The data her body found useful enough to add to herself...it must have been a Clockmon, a Machine Digimon whose name and design were derived from the alarm clock. They protect "Time" and "Space", and were able to freely advance and rewind time. Because they possess such an extremely dangerous, terrifying ability, they always maintain a neutral standpoint, and always refused to participate in conflict. For that reason, it is said that if a Clockmon were ever tilts toward either side of the balance of Good and Evil, the Digital World would collapse.

She had gained that power?!

The idea made Ranamon grin. Not only was she the Legendary Warrior of water, and a two hundred-foot-tall giantess, but she had control of time and space, too!

Ho, she naturally knew all about how 71 percent of the planet's surface is water-covered, and the oceans held about 96.5 percent of all water, but how water also existed in the air as water vapor, in rivers and lakes, in icecaps and glaciers, in the ground as soil moisture and in aquifers, and even that water exists within all living things.

Between that, her new size, and how she possessed the ability to sense, manipulate, and control all forms of water water through her very nature as the Legendary Water Warrior making it so she had hydrokinesis, she felt that she was more than simply, as she had stated earlier, "the strongest of the Legendary Warriors."

No...she was more in the class of the four Digimon Sovereigns, an all-powerful goddess in her own right! Ranamon grinned at the sheer thought of it.

As that idea struck her, Ranamon had a sudden epiphany. There was nothing like having supreme power to make one stop and think. Especially about one's role in it...

"Why should Ah listen to Cherubimon anymore?" Ranamon wondered, she could probably overthrow him now if she felt so inclined, and while the idea was tempting enough to do now, and even though she WOULD do it...there was something she had always wanted to see: the Human World.

Getting there'd be simple for her now! Heck, she could most likely take it over and then rule BOTH worlds! The idea of all those diminutive humans and digimon all worshiping her...the idea stroked her vanity rather well.

Snapping her fingers, she focused on thinking up a point in time when humans had entered the digital world or vice versa. She felt the time-based power activate and the flow of time pass through and around her according to her own will. As it did, she laughed.

Like she had previously come to realize, between her new size, her new ability to freely manipulate time, and how she possessed the ability to sense, manipulate, and control all forms of water water through her very nature as the Legendary Water Warrior making it so she had hydrokinesis, she'd have BOTH worlds in the palm of her hand in no time.

When the sensation of time travel receded, the aquatic giantess was in...
