Kari had just left her bedroom thinking that this would just be another ordinary day (well, as ordinary as it could be for a teenager who saves the world from evil with a digital cat as her partner). She thought that her dream was just that; a dream. She was very wrong. It was actually a precursor to what was about to happen to her. She had just stepped outside to soak in the morning scenery when she noticed that her crest of light was glowing. Not it's usual pink glow either, it was glowing in a bright crimson color this time!
At first, Kari wondered what was going on, but she quickly remembered her dream. Knowing from the dream that this abnormal glow would soon be followed be an even more abnormal growth spurt, Kari ran as far away from her house as she possibly could. She had already crushed it once, and she didn't want that to happen again; especially considering that it wasn't just a dream this time. Kari had just barely put a safe distance between herself and the house when she began to shoot upward. Just like in her dream, she continued growing until she reached a size of 200 feet tall.
She knew from her dream that she could control her size with her mind, and immediately tried to shrink back to her normal size. At first it appeared to be working, as her body dwindled back closer and closer to the ground. However, when she reached a height of 50 feet tall, her shrinking came to an abrupt halt. Kari wondered what had gone wrong.
"Hey, what gives! Why am I still huge! I can't go anywhere like this... I'll just end up crushing everything without even trying to... This is not good! Come on body, go back to normal!"
Kari tried and tried to shrink back to her original size, but to no avail. It seemed that 50 feet tall was as short as she could get now!
"Ugh... This is just fantastic... Now I'm stuck like this... Well, it might not be all bad. After all, I can probably help a lot more people now than I could before. Maybe society could use a giant protector like me! I guess if I'm stuck like this from now on, I might as well make the best of it..."
Kari, now a giant goddess with a mission to aid the citizens and make their lives easier in any way possible, began walking toward her next destination.
She was going toward _________________.
