"Ummm... excuse me?" you say shyly. "Hello?" you raise your voice just a tad bit higher. "HEY! TUBBY WAKE UP! i mean-" His snoring stalls . . .and then falls back to a steady in and out. You decide to take action, you can't miss out on something this awesome! You walk up to his cheek and give it a firm hard punch.
That does it!. . .Uh oh. .
"Hng. . whugh... can't a guy get some sleep. . . i must be feeling things." he turns his head towards you. . ."GAH" His eyes open wide, and he lifts his head up "Hel- Hey there. . . kid!"
"I-im so-sorry i woke you up!" You stammer as you feel yourself become more and more shy.
"Oh no it's ok, im just surprised someone actually noticed me!" He brings his chest up and sideways lies on his arm. " Just trying to get some shut eye thats all."
You feel bad for waking him up "Oh, well, maybe i should go.."
"Oh, come on, not like im going to eat ya!" He smiles at you, face still groggy from light sleep.
"So. . . what, what were doing that made you so tired?" You sit down after feeling more comfortable.
"Oh me? Oh i just dragged a ship back to shore." He shuts his eyes for a second, and then opens again.
"Why?"
"Well it was sinking." You blink in awe, he must be really strong! "You see im a lifegaurd. . well not really. . .kind of self appointed, but i keep people safe, i was just getting in my hour nap before my night shift."
"Thats awfully nice of you! You should be the most known person by now on the sea!"
His face lowers, into a small frown."Well, i don't really like the publivity, thats why i was so surprised when you found me!"
You look down at the ground, feeling bad, then to the ocean, gazing down his body, the nyou notice his package. You quickly look back to him to see if he was looking at, feeling embarressed. Nope hes snoozing.
Feeling bad you decide to make it up to him in some way"HEY!"
"GWUH"
"You know, there was a order to get all ships off the sea tonight, so looks like you have a free night!" You stand up and walk to under his head. "I-if you want i could help you relax?"
"A free night eh? Well i guess i could go for some relaxation"
