“We’ve got a long walk,” said Jerry to Matt as they lugged Matt’s suitcases down the hallway. “B Dorm is nearly the furthest away. It and A Dorm are for the littlest and youngest guys. As you get bigger, you get to go in the closer dorms if you want.”
As they passed the water cooler, Matt noticed that the display cases in the hallways had photos of old sports teams and graduating students. Boy, were some of them fat! He was about to ask Jerry about gym class and sports days when Leo Parkey stepped out of the washroom door right in front of them.
“So, new guy, we meet again,” he said sneeringly. “And this time, no Ms. Peach to save you.”
“Oh, buzz off, Leo,” said Jerry. “You maybe older than we are, but you’re not any bigger than I am, and there’s two of us. Go bother somebody else.”
“Well, Jerry, I see you put on lots of weight over the summer - most of it in your lip,” Leo snapped back. “Get out of the way while I introduce the new guy to how things are done around here.”
“Leo, buzz off. Matt, there’s only one way to deal with this idiot. You tackle him from the right, I’ll get him from the left,”said Jerry, dropping the suitcase. “Let’s do it!” And with that, Jerry rushed at Leo, using his belly to pin him to the wall. Matt took only an instant to realise what Jerry was doing, then rushed in himself. Suddenly Leo found himself pinned to the wall by 600 pounds of flabby 14 year olds.
“Help, Mac, help,” whined Leo.
“Mac is Leo’s brother,” said Jerry. “He’s younger than Leo, but bigger. He only comes sometimes, though - usually he’s too busy playing games on the computer to bother. And every time Leo yelps for him, usually one of the prefects hears and comes. As Jerry and Matt continue to pin Leo to the wall, down the hallway comes:
