"Mornin'," you hear the voice of your brother, Sam, say groggily. Drifting slowly into wakefulness, you try to move, but you are still pinned to Matt's foot by his sock.
Matt yawns and stretches his arms as he sits up in bed. He pulls the foot with you stuck to it closer to him, and absent-mindedly begins to stroke you against his foot again, without removing the sock.
"Oh, hey, Sam. You'll never believe what I found crawling around my feet last night," Matt says, and stomach seems to drop inside you. Whatever is about to happen, you're not sure whether it's a good thing or not, but you suspect not.
"Oh, what is it with you and your feet?" you recognize the voice of another of your brother's room-mates, Mark. "Every single thing you say has something to do with your feet. Hey, Sam, give me a foot-rub? Hey, Nate, why don't you suck my big toe? You're like in love with your feet. What's up with that?"
Ignoring him, Matt begins to remove his sock very ceremoniously, and then stretches out his foot for the others to see. Although you are still pressed against his foot, you struggle to look around and see your brother's face staring at you, confusedly.
"Is that... That's Mike!?... But..."
Before anything more can be said, you feel yourself being peeled away from Matt's foot, and after a couple of dazed moments, you notice yourself resting in the palm of a giant hand, and looking up into yet another giant face, this one belonging to the fourth room-mate, Nate.
"Whoa! This is so cool! I wonder how this happened." Nate says, as you see Mark's giant face pressing closer to inspect you in Nate's hand.
"Man, Matt, he stinks! Why'd you have to leave him in your socks?" adds Mark.
"How'd this happen? Where'd you find him? What the...?"
A whirl of questions were filling the room, at least half of which were coming from Sam. Matt tried to explain as best you could about finding him, but he couldn't tell much. He finished his story about finding him with this:
"Ultimately, does it really matter how he got that way? From now on, we have our own tiny, human pet, and we can do whatever we want with him!"
