"A messenger approaches," Dauphin replied, having been watching the progress of the female messenger across the battlefield that had once been part of a town.
"An urgent message from your homeland," the messenger told Dauphin handing her a sealed envelope.
Delpheus was slightly irritated, but not greatly. He had arranged for Dauphin to be sent a message telling that some of the men behind the attacks on their land had been captured and identified as being from elsewhere. However, the message was not meant to be delivered for at least another twelve hours. Still, he supposed it didn't matter if the results were the same.
