There IS Room At The Inn!

With no further argument, the inn keeper took her money and handed her a key, pointing down a hallway at the back of the main room.

'You're in luck, our previous guest only left this morning. I'm sure that there's more than a few others out there who'd be glad of a roof over their heads tonight...'

Dauphin made her excuses and went straight to her room. She had no time to waste in idle chit chat with the man, and she had no taste to hang around for too long in the bar.

When she got there, she soon found out what the barman had meant by 'left'. The bloodstains on the wall above the small bed's headboard were still quite fresh. What could have happened here?
