The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
All around us, in every particle, in every moment, exists an unfathomable presence—a force that binds the universe together. It is not energy, not matter, but something far deeper: the foundation of reality itself. This force doesn’t simply govern the physical laws of the cosmos; it defines existence. It shapes who we are, the paths we walk, and even the memories we hold.

For billions of years, it has worked in flawless silence, an unseen architect maintaining the balance of the universe. No machine, no mind, no imagination has ever grasped its nature, because to perceive it would require stepping outside of reality itself—a feat no living being could accomplish. Even if we could perceive it, somehow, understanding it would be another matter. Is it proof of a creator? Of a simulation? Or something else entirely?

But now, something has gone wrong. Somewhere deep within its unfathomable expanse, the portion of this force that envelops the Earth has fractured. The break is invisible, intangible, yet its effects ripple outward in devastating ways. The fabric of reality begins to unravel—not in a violent cataclysm, but in quiet, seamless distortions.

Lives are rewritten in the blink of an eye, and no one notices. A man who was a banker wakes up as a sculptor, his hands worn and calloused from decades he believes he’s lived. A formerly normal child stands at 7 feet tall. Lives change subtly, sometimes drastically—yet to those experiencing it, the changes are perceived to be normal and mundane - not worth a second thought. Memories shift to accommodate the new reality, leaving no trace of what once was.

The cracks are spreading. Every moment, the force falters a little more, twisting threads of existence into chaotic knots. Entire lives are undone and rewritten, sometimes subtly, sometimes drastically, but almost always without awareness. To the world, everything seems normal. But beneath the surface, the truth is crumbling. Perhaps some unlucky folk slip through the cracks and can see what’s going on, but surely that is a one way ticket to madness.

The force is neither malicious nor sentient. It does not think, it does not have an agenda. It is simply broken, like a clock with its gears misaligned. Reality is no longer smooth or ordered—it stutters, shifts, and rearranges with no guiding hand. And as the cracks grow wider, one question remains: how much more can it endure before the universe itself unravels?
