Option1- After rukia transfers her powers to ichigo(which unknowingly unlocks ichigos own powers) however rukias power influenced ichigos as while ichigo may have more reiastu the rukia but rukia has more control than ichigo so the more controlled energy shaped the wild energy which causes him to change

Option2- During his training with kisuke and yorichi

Option3- After aizens escape and is checked over by Unohana
