Tuning my omniscient senses into the location where the Intruder is, I find a human in somewhat tattered clothes clutching a small dagger. Ok, not as big of an emergency as I thought. I'm pretty sure this is a down on their luck begger or something. Probably not an actual threat. OK. Embird, go spook him, see if he'll leave when a monster suddenly shows up.
Embird crackles like a fire, guess it can't really tweet like a bird, since it's not **really** a bird, and flies out. As I watch, it suddenly flies around a corner and the man is startled, tripping and falling back. However, he quickly stands up, trembling, but gripping the dagger, and lunges. He misses, obviously, the embird is too fast, and it can fly. It flashes with a sudden burst of light, forcing the man to shield his eyes and let out a pained shout as his clothes sizzle and smoke. Seems it's Flare skill works well enough.
This continues for a short bit, the man slowly losing more and more of his clothes, before finally he seems to give up. As the embird shoots past him, he drops the knife and rolls to the side. Seeing that the monster is between him and his blade, he turns and flees.

Isn't that super cheap? Hm...From what I remember, the **Dungeon Mechanics** information said it was a minimum of 1 DP per meter of material created by the dungeon...so, 3 DP because the dagger uses 3 materials and isn't over a meter in size? Won't most items be rather cheap to make then? Guess dropping loot for adventurers/intruders isn't going to be an issue.
Ok. Well, we scared them off. We're good for now. I...don't want to become a psycho that kills just to kill, but I think I need to kill to really make a profit with just 10 DP a day. So...I guess I'll just...not stop people from dying in the dungeon? If they can't handle it, I won't pull punches, but I won't pursue if they flee, I suppose. Yeah. No reason to become a place of pure death and get the Heros or whatever coming to kill me, right? That'd be scary. Wonder if I'd reincarnate again if I die? I'd rather not find out.
Next up...waiting for DP and expansion~! Yay~...I'm going to have to wait for my DP to go up...man, whoever decided on the daily DP amount is a jerk! 10 DP a day!? Who can survive on that?! Whatever. I have 53 DP left at the moment...I'll summon a couple more Embirds and then...wait, I guess. Hope it's peaceful for a while so I can get some DP. Maybe an animal will show up so I can kill it? Not like I can have the Embirds go out and hunt. The kill has to be in my domain to get DP, and I don't think they're strong enough to drag a live creature back.
Ok. Five more Embirds for 25 DP, I have 28 left. That's 6 little flame chicks protecting me. I feel safer already. Well, then...Let's do the time skip, baby~.  You have the following choice: 1. We wait. |
