Your name is David. You're a 21-year-old up and coming law major attending a local multi-species community college. True, you could snag yourself something small and wish your smarts to professional level like most everyone else, but the idea never felt right to you somehow.
Taking a life just to get ahead in your own seemed terrible, even if it was just a bug. Eugh. Especially a bug.

For now, you're taking a nice relaxing walk down the street behind the college campus on your way home.
