Jay looked closer at the display. He saw what appeared to be a boxed set of vials and fine powders. The front of the box was labeled “Beastmen Brew,” and was brightly illustrated with several pictures.
The first showed a lovestruck young man staring up at a towering woman, who appeared to possess a shapely humanoid figure, with orange striped fur covering her body. Her head looked close to that of a tigress, and she posed seductively, wearing a dress that left little to the imagination.
The second picture showed another feminine figure in a track and field uniform, who resembled a rabbit woman striding down a racetrack at incredible speed, excitement in her eyes.
Finally, the last portrait was of a masculine figure in overalls, hoisting a massive log over his shoulder. His body was covered in brown fur, and his bullish face gave off a toothy grin. He was giving a thumbs up with a meaty, hoovelike hand.
Jay just stared for a little while. The art was clearly drawn, but it looked remarkably lifelike. “Find something you like?” a cheery voice came from behind him. Jay nearly jumped as he turned to face Adrianna.
She looked past him and grinned. “Oh this is one of my favorites! It’s so versatile and easy to use too!” He calmed down, and smiled back. “It looks incredible, how does it work?”
Jay’s interest seemed to fuel Adrianna’s excitement, and she quickly explained. The box came with several pre-made vials, which could be ingested at any time. Whomever ingested a vial would transform into a hybrid of themselves and the animal on the formula, typically resulting in an anthropomorphic beastman or beastwoman.
“Keep in mind,” she continued “You may want to be careful about wearing clothes while you transform. Beastmen are large creatures. Even the small ones, like the mouse variant, are around 6 to 7 feet tall, while medium sized creatures ,like horses or deer, can be between 8 and 9 feet tall, and large animals…” she trailed off. “Well, large animals, like elephants, can be well over 10 to 12 feet tall, sometimes even bigger.” She stopped to catch her breath for a moment. “The transformation usually takes a few minutes to complete.”
Jay’s eyes widened. “Is it permanent?” Adrianna waved her hand. “Of course not, it wears off on its own, though the time frame varies. Sometimes it takes hours at the very least, and sometimes it can take several days. Everyone is a bit different. There is, however, an emergency cure that comes with the purchase.” She looked up at him, and her eyes gleamed. “I don’t suppose you care for a demonstration?”
She posed dramatically, copying the art on the box. “Not to brag, but I make for a beautiful tigress. Or if you're into something more gentle, I can be a majestic elk. I do hope you like taller women.” She winked at him.
Jay laughed at first, thinking she was joking, but she looked at him earnestly. This all seemed impossible, but Adrianna made it sound so real. He considered his options.
