Kiki didn’t get football. It was just a bunch of dudes chasing each other back and forth while everyone screamed. Big whoop. But her boyfriend, Aaron, lived ate and breathed the sport. And though his enthusiasm or even understanding of football never seemed to rub off on her Kiki was just happy to see him happy.
It seemed like a good idea at the time to get him these tickets, of course when she got them she assumed he’d invite one of his buddies as his second. But to her masked dismay Aaron promised to bring her with him on the spot upon opening the envelope. And she didn’t have the heart to tell him no.
So here she was, wrapped up in the colors of a team she didn’t care about with a good view of a game she didn’t care to spectate, trying to look excited whenever her boyfriend looked her way.
