“Look Sam! Our mother looks amazing from here!” yelled Andrew, causing Sam to look out to the horizon as well.
Sonia, the Mother Goddess was thousands and thousands of miles away from them, and yet she was easily visible from that distance due to her exorbitant size.
“Yes indeed, Andrew. She is truly beautiful. She must be an incredible sight to our hundreds of older brothers who are with her” replied Sam, referring to the small expedition of Gulliverians who had left the aquarium three years ago to settle temporarily in a part of Sonia's immense body for the purpose of studying the conditions of her body for reasons unknown to them.
"What do you think is the reason those Gullis went with our Mother?" asked Andrew. "They never officially told us the purpose of the mission and so far the 'watchers' have not told us micros anything about it” he added as he looked out the window as the sky became clear.
“I think they haven't succeeded in achieving their goal and that's why the watchers haven't said anything yet” Sam replied. "You know how they are perfectionists. They will never accept mistakes on their part. That's their policy”
“Or maybe it's because of our Mother hasn't ordered them to stop, yet?” Andrew also considered. "They are very loyal to her, but I suppose the same could be said for all us. I don't know, maybe it's some future project that is taking a while to complete?"
“Maybe” replied Sam not very interested. He hadn't really thought about the Gullis' departure in a long time until Andrew reminded him. It seemed that no one remembered it anymore, when at the time it took up most daily conversation for several weeks. Perhaps Andrew was interested in the topic or he was close with one of the Gulliverians and he missed them.
“Wouldn't it be amazing to be able to go and visit our Mother's wonderful body someday?” Andrew uttered again with some excitement. "Imagine, going to the very place where the waters of the immense white sea around us are produced!"
Sam was silently contemplating his friend's idea. As he thought about this crazy possibility, he gazed towards the horizon where their mother lay sleeping.
“If I had the opportunity to live there for at least a day, I would. I would drop everything to explore the body of the woman who raised us" Andrew stated with resolve.
Sam spoke again. “I don't think it's that simple, Andrew. Although I don't doubt the body of our Mother would be an interesting place to live, it is a very unstable and dangerous place for us Micros. Ms. Lucy said it last week, our Mother's body is almost the same as ours, but bigger. Her body contains the same fluids and acids that dissolve food, but it would dissolve us, too. Not to mention those terrible mites that live on her body. They are microscopic to her, but enormous to us. I don't want to ever encounter one of them” Sam said worriedly.
“Gee, that's funny. You paid attention to everything Ms. Lucy said, but you didn't pay attention to Mr. Langdon when he gave the date of the report” Andrew immediately replied to him confidently.
“Well it's very simple. Mr. Langdon doesn't have a nice complexion to look at all the time. Heh heh” Sam retorted mischievously.
“You dirty rascal! You're into older women? I get your point, though. Even I can't look away from her beauty. Hehehe” Andrew japed. “I feel the same way about our Mother. I don't worry so much about the dangers that might be on her body. I just want to get close to her, to have a proper conversation with her instead of over a phone. It would be more special that way” Andrew confided. "Hopefully, my dream will come true someday"
“Amen to that” Sam replied with sincerity.
After almost two hours of travel, the bus arrived at the “BREAST OF THE GODDESS”, a small lookout point located at the top of the huge cliff at a height of almost 100 Lilliputian meters, named after the immense breasts of their Mother that could be glimpsed from this distance and where they could safely witness the "great white rain" of the goddess without being affected by the rapidly rising sea.
As Andrew and Sam got off the bus, they noticed that they were not alone. Hundreds of other people were already sitting at the edge of the lookout point waiting anxiously for the arrival of their Mother. Suddenly, light shone over the horizon, staining the vast sea and giving it its creamy white color. Then, a loud and thunderous sound was heard in the distance coming from outside the aquarium. It was Sonia's alarm clock waking her up. The gigantic form of the Prodigan woman stirred in her bed and she quickly stuck out her hand to switch off the alarm. What was humorous was the alarm was set at its lowest volume to avoid frightening the Aquarium's inhabitants, but it was still very loud to their tiny ears. For Andrew and the millions inside the aquarium, it signified their Mother's awakening. They excitedly waited for the arrival of the mountainous nipple that would provide them with a rich and juicy “downpour”...
