As you were ducking yourself around the corner, fiddling with the shrink ray, your focus prevented you from hearing some footsteps heading towards you. You didn't even notice a shadow growing on you as you press some buttons befor-
"Hi Mikey!"
"Ah!" You jump as soon as you heard a female voice yell right next to your ear. Your heart jump as you somewhat leap ahead as you turn around, seeing Nugget standing over you as she smiles at you with a toothy grin on her face. "Nugget, did you had to scare me?" You said as you grasp for air, your heart almost having a heart attack. As you trying to catch yourself, you didn't notice that in the middle of the badger jumpscare, you accidentally drop the shrink ray, which lands right in front of Nugget's shoe.
"Your fault for not saying hi." She laughs as she see you being a scaredy cat before her eyes spot the toy gun like device. She quickly reach down and plucks it as she examines it, wondering its strangeness to her mind. "So what brought you here? Trying a new device, want to do some sight seeing, maybe wish to help me find some ghost that I manage to detect some activity from up here?" She bombard you with questions as she leans to you.
"Yes to the first one. Got a device to work finally, but just want to make sure it still works right before showing it to Mimi." You explain as she stand up straight and want to show Nugget the shrink ray before you finally notice the device is missing from your hand. You look around before Nugget speaks.
"Is it this little doohickey?" Nugget shows she has the device in her hands as she continues to examine it.
"Ah, Nugget, careful with that thing, I'm still trying to make sure it works right." You said as you try to get the device back but Nugget just uses her tall size to keep it from your reach.
"Weird thing, what does it do? Is it a ray gun that can blast stuff, a teleport gun, *gasp* Mikey, are you secretly a weird little alien in disguise?" Nugget continues to bombard you with question.
"Nugget, you know the we're both alien to each others kind for crying out loud." You point the obviousness. "And speak for yourself on the weird one, Nugget, that thing isn't some blaster. The device simply -"
"Oooh, what does this trigger do?" Nugget was not exactly listening as she was in her own world, causing you to look amd see that she has her finger on the trigger.
"Nugget, no!" You try to stop Nugget, but it was far too late as she pulls the trigger and activate the shrink ray and...
