Chapter #4

Tavern of Trouble

    by: max Author IconMail Icon
Broken Birch Tavern
17:00 Standard Galactic time

“Oh I do not like this.” Anna mumbled to herself as she approached the Tavern. An enormous wooden structure, she supposed it was made to look like a birch tree. If a birch tree had been crossbred with a starship and a redwood. Then struck by lightning, and patched together by a crazed pottery fanatic. The building before her was a strange mix of black and white coloring, interspaced by stone tiles of various shades. With three sets of doors leading inside. One set clearly meant for other races and visiting species, denoted by the double doors being more ovalish, to allow nearly any body shape through. The other two sets of doors were more common to elven architecture.

Often buildings had multiple sets of doors. The official reason was to accommodate any size elf and reduce accidents, the unofficial reason was to separate the people by power. A smaller person attempting to enter through an entrance meant for a high lord would run the risk of being crushed underfoot. Though when the occurrence rate was 96%, some questioned if it was a “risk” at all, certainty seemed to be the better word.

Anna walked through the set of doors sized to people of her stature and smaller. This was the second thing she didn't like about the tavern. It only had two sizes of doors for elves. The second set was 100-300ft, sized for the high Lords. Once inside she noted that the place was surprisingly clean, yet utterly unorganized. To the left and right she saw groups of people huddled together watching something. Many shouting, and few desperately clutching credit sticks in their hands. As she passed by one of the tables occupied almost solely by smaller alien races she was able to catch a glimpse of what was happening.

A dark wooden table stood at the center of the group. Surrounding it was a thin electrified wire, creating a makeshift ring of sorts. In the center of that ring two absolutely tiny elven women were battling it out. The taller of the two was maybe 7 inches tall, her opponent barely 4 inches. Disgust and uncertainty played over Anna's face.
“To cinder rock with Vil'ashea. This place is just wrong.” Anna said turning to leave. Only to bump face first into the bosom of another taller elf.
“Pardon me, I was just-”
“Heading towards Lady Sylvi? Allow me to guide the way.” The larger elf said. Not waiting for Anna to respond she hoisted her up by her top. Anna dangled in her captor's grasp for a moment, as they moved through a hallway she was about three seconds from showing the 16 ft behemoth what her own ass looked like when the atmosphere changed.

A stringent yet sweet smell assaulted Anna's senses as she looked around. The area she was in now was far more ostentatious than the previous. The black and gold trimmed walls were lined with various sized seats, nearly all of them filled. Creatures of every shape and size filled the area, dwarves, orcs, centaurs, and a few alien races Anna didn't recognize. All of the smaller seats and occupants were positioned around four enormous seats. Elaborate throne like structures lined with colorful metals and huge silken cushions. In one of those thrones sat Sylvi Vil'ashea. Her attention glued to some sort of central event.

“Keep moving, the Mistress is expecting you.” said the bouncer as she gave Anna a shove towards the stairs.
“Pop your fucking ears between my thighs.” Anna mumbled, then blushed when she saw the bouncer blow her a kiss and give her chest a shake. She turned and proceeded up the stairs next to Slyvi's seat. Taking the steps four at a time she made it to the armrest in no time. There the stairs ended, fortunately the armrest for 100 ft Sylvi also served as a walkway. Anna moved forward and carefully placed her hand on Sylvi's. The high lord glanced down angrily, her look softened immediately when she saw who was touching her.

“Anna darling. Wonderful timing, this match is almost concluded and should suffice to explain everything.” Slyvi said as she turned her attention back to the center of the room. Anna followed Sylvi's gaze and was unsurprised to find a group of people locked in combat. What did surprise her was that only three of the contenders were elven. The rest were various species, dwarves, eldrani, vashtok, and notably two rather large centaurs. Whatever battle royale they had been partaking in was drawing to a close. As the entire group charged the largest elf in the ring. Even at 24 ft tall she never stood a chance. She was pinned by the two elves and overran by the rest in seconds. The battle devolved into a short frantic free for all afterwards. The last one standing had been the smallest elf in the ring. Standing barely 7ft tall.

Anna watched confused for a moment. Until the interior of the ring lit up. A strange teal glow pulsed through the entire room. First sweeping inward, and passing over every contestant in the ring. A moment later every fighter save for one began to shrink. Before long most of them had been reduced to half their height. The exception being the 24 ft tall elf that had first fallen. She was reduced to abysmal 13 inches. While the winner stood in the center, her body pulsing with an eerie light. The energy coursed through her and a network of rigid lines that bled outward into a silvery sheen covered her skin. The elven woman let out a roar right before her body seemed to solidify. Seconds later sharp cracks ran through the silvery statue and a growing elf emerged. Flexing her newfound muscles and delighting as she rose higher and higher.

“Uh, Lady Vil'ashea. One how is that possible, two is this safe? She just absorbed a dozen people's height. She's gonna be like…oh great tree!” Anna cried as she did the math. That little elf wasn't going to be little for long.
“Relax Anna, observe.” Sylvi said. Meanwhile below them the growing elf had reached nearly 9ft tall when her body suddenly stopped. Still glowing with light she released a pulse of energy that hit the walls of the stadium and were promptly channeled into the throne like seats of two high lords.

Anna felt her own system light up and prepare for growth as the power passed by her. She watched as silvery blue lines raced up Sylvi. Passing over the larger woman's arms and directly into her breasts. Anna saw and heard as Sylvi's already large bosom began to expand. The sound a combination of air running through a hose and leather being stretched as Sylvi's breasts pulled her the top of her dress tighter and tighter.

“Mmm, understand now?” Sylvi asked.
“...yeah cause that's what you needed bigger tits…” Anna mumbled.
“Manners dear.” Sylvi said smiling.
“Sorry my lady, and yes I get it. We’re…”
