The light from the sky had finally faded as everyone across Teyvat had started to regain consciousness after the unforeseen magical flash. As for the unlucky Bennett, he began to wake up, slowly opening his eyes. He found himself on the floor in an unfamiliar place and nothing about it could give him a hint to where he was at. He was unfamiliar with the look of the room. He looked around still feeling weary from the magic’s effect.
“W-Where is… Where am I?”
Bennett tried to get up only to feel that the weight of “his” body was now very different. He stood up and right away noticed the differences in certain places. The sudden weight on his chest, to the curves all over his body to even the height difference as he was now taller, Bennet became disturbed by this unexpected change. As he unknowingly looked down, he saw a close up view of bare cleavage causing him to get flustered, losing his balance and falling back.
“Y-Yeouch! W-W-What is this??” Bennett questioned it, but once he spoke out he heard that his voice wasn’t his. It was now a woman’s voice. “M-My voice… What is happening??!”
Bennett started to panic so much and took a closer look at what he was wearing; a short violet kimono with a dark red bow wrapped around with tassels, purple high stockings and high heel sandals which caused him to lose his balance. He even realized his hair was now long, purple and braided. He was so perplexed at what was going on.
“What is this?? Did I become a woman?!!”
He brought himself upwards trying to maintain balance. He needed to see what he looked liked and examined the room, seeing a full-length mirror. Rushing towards it as Bennett awkwardly took big steps trying to not fall again, he stepped in front of the mirror. Words couldn’t describe the shock on Bennett’s face when he saw “his” reflection.
“AAHHHHHH!”
The boy screamed so loud at the sight that he just became the Raiden Shogun, the Electro Archon. He was so distraught, speechless in fact.
“What is this, why am I… not me??”
Frantically looking back and forth, Bennett noticed a screen door. Carefully rushing to it, he opened it up seeing that he wasn’t even in Mondstadt anymore. He was now in Subarea, the main city of Inazuma.
“HOW DID I GET HERE??”
Although the boy had never been to Inazuma, he had heard stories of it through the townsfolk and from the traveler’s personal experience of dealing with the Electro Archon. When he heard about her, Bennett knew she was a force never to be reckoned with. Which is why he vowed to avoid her in order not to cause any trouble for her.
Now that it came to his mind, Bennett had finally grasped the situation. The mysterious magic circle from the domain must have activated from when he accidently broke the totem, causing him and Fischl to swap with someone around the world. To top it off out of all the people Bennett could’ve switched bodies with, it just had to be the Electro Archon herself.
Still in disbelief about all this, Bennett returned to the mirror to gather his thoughts.
“I can’t believe this is happening…” He said as he pinch his cheek as a last minute resort to see if this was real. “Ouch! No, not a dream. This is real…”
After finally coming to his senses, Bennett regained his composure. Realizing the depths of the situation, he contemplated on what to do next.
“So what am I supposed to do now? I really can't walk out there like this can I? People would definitely notice their archon cautiously walking around. Besides, I feel so… different…”
The drastic differences from his old body to his now current body was night and day. He weighed out his choices of what to do next. He didn’t know where to start. For starters, how did Bennett even get all the way here or worse, if Fischl was also in a similar situation like him. Not to mention if even the hilichurls from the domain have been affected. All this could lead to big trouble.
As he was going through all these questions in his head, suddenly the corner of his eyes turned back to the mirror to look closely at the circumstance. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity after all, for the good or bad…
“I don’t know if this counts as being lucky or not…”
He started eyeing the Archon’s body up and down. Whether he liked it or not, he was in the body of a gorgeous woman. From that close up view that made him jump back before, his eyes lingered back to the sight of her cleavage. The first-person view got him riled up again and just as he was about to raise his hand up to cop a feel, his innocence came back to him at the last second.
“Ahh! Wait, what am I doing? I can’t do this, it's indecent!”
He quickly snapped out of it, feeling a little ashamed. Right now he knew that this was not the time to do anything mischievous. Excluding the fact that who knows what would happen if the Electro Archon found out that he did something in her body, he knew he couldn’t go through with it.
His main priority first was to regroup with Fischl, then find the person inhabiting his body whether it was the intimidating archon or not, and find a way to fix this mixup. Though that proved to be easier said than done since if Bennett was sent all the way to Inazuma, then who knows where Fischl could be at this very moment. He liked to think that Fischl would be somewhere nearby, but the odds of that were very slim. He needed to think of his next move carefully.
While Bennett may think that he and Fischl were the only ones affected by it, he is in for one big surprise if he decides to venture out into the city, or perhaps someone will come to him instead, or maybe he would simply let his intrusive thoughts get the best out of him and explore this new body. There can also be a chance that someone else may be experiencing this same situation. Either way, anything is possible in the mixed up situation.
What will be Bennett’s next move?
