Normal Pikachu

Pikachu looked around and seemed a little distrustful towards Ash.

"This Pikachu is quite exceptional." Oak explained. "Though not exactly the most powerful, he's certainly shown intelligence far beyond the average Pikachu."

He then handed Ash 5 pokéballs and a pokédex, also warning him Pikachu didn't particularly like being kept in his pokéball.

When he got to the edge of town, he saw Jenny and Joy witing in civilian clothes. "I didn't expect to see you yet. I thought I'd have to wait for you."

Jenny smiled. "We were allowed to finish our shifts early." She then noticed his partner.

He explained that Pikachu didn't like being in his pokéball.

He then realised he couldn't exactly call them "Nurse" and "Officer" from this point on.

They then introduced themselves as Marble Jenny and Marnie Joy.

With that, they went off.
