After being told off by her supervisor, Josh watched with disbelief as Zoe went to the back to get things ready. Turning, he could feel his longer hair sway and he groaned as it brushed his neck. He knew that she was going to bring their drinks to them and that would be the chance to talk to her and get his hair back. Seeing Jenn sitting in their usual spot, her mouth soon formed into a smile as she saw him walked closer. "Hey, what did Zoe want to talk to you about?" She asked as he sat down. Feeling a rogue piece of hair going out of place, Josh sighed as he put it back into place. Seeing his seemingly dislike for his hair, Jenn lovingly grabbed his hand. "When are you going to get it trimmed?" She asked.
Not entirely sure of what she was talking about, Josh looked at her like she'd grown another head on her shoulders. "Get what trimmed?" He replied.
"Your hair silly." Jenn sighed as she motioned towards his hair. "You know, get the dead ends cut and perhaps get it redyed." Picking up a portion of Zoe's hair, Josh got a better look at it. It didn't look like it needed to get cut, but he could see that the color seemed to have faded since he remembered when Zoe got it dyed a couple weeks ago. "I'm really jealous that you can pull it off." Jenn told him as she leaned over the table to touch his hair. "When I get it dyed, my hair always so brittle and I'm afraid that it will break."
Simply just nodding his head, Josh sat back and wondered how long it was dyed for. Pulling out his phone, Josh wondered if his social media will have anything. Every time he and Jenn would go out to do something together, she made a habit of tagging him on her account. "It will be good for us to look back on these days." He remembered her telling him when he asked about it.
As he scrolled through the past year, he saw that his hair color would change every 3 or 4 months. Varying from shades of pink, blue, green, and even yellow, Josh was amazed at how often Zoe got it dyed and thought it looked really nice on her. The length of the hair didn't seem to change too much, other than trimming the bangs and perhaps the dead ends, much like Jenn suggested. This cycle seemed to go back to when you were a Senior in High School, then it looked like normal feminine looking hair. 'Looks like Zoe went into a goth phase a couple years ago.' Josh thought to himself as he looked through the pictures. 'I wonder why she gets it dyed like this?' He continued to think to himself, but thought that maybe Jenn might have an idea. Looking back over at her, Josh cleared his throat. "Ehm... Jenn, sweetie, do you remember why I started to get my hair dyed like this?" He asked her trying not to sound like he's losing his mind.
Hearing this, she thought about it for a moment. "Its been several years, but I think it was because you liked the hair of several E-girl game players and Tok-Tickers. You were on the fence about it for a couple months until I finally pushed you into getting it done." She giggled thinking back on it. "You were so happy at how it turned out and couldn't help but have me take pictures for you." This was certainly new to Josh, but wondered if this is the reason why Zoe had it done. Not entirely sure what an E-girl was, Josh started to type it into Soogle to see what kind of picture would come up. After the searches came through, he noticed that his current hair looked a lot like somebody with the handle 'Gamer_Chickadee'. "Oh, here comes Zoe with our drinks now." Jenn announced, causing Josh to quickly look around to see and Zoe walking awkwardly towards them with his shorter hair on her head.
Putting his phone down, Josh quickly made his way over to her and to make an appearance of helping her, he grabbed the two cups. "Can we switch back now?" He asked with a nervous tone.
Giggling slightly, Zoe looked back at him and replied with a low voice. "Awe, but you look so cute with my black and pink hair." Hearing this caused Josh him to blush at the compliment, even though he knew she didn't really mean it. "Let me tell you what." She continued, making Josh look back at her. "I will swap it back if we can do swap our ______"
