Jenn stumbled backwards but managed to steady her feet. The flash from the remote was brighter than it had been before, and it took a few seconds until she regained her vision. When it came back she saw the woman had calmed down and was patting the front of her leggings. Jenn could see that the bulge was gone.
"Now that's better!" She looked at Jenn and scowled "I don't know what kind of freaky occult nonsense you're up to but if you try it again there'll be hell to pay!" Before Jenn could respond she heard Josh's voice chime in.
"You college kids have no respect for your superiors these days!" He said harshly. Jenn looked over to him and gasped at what she saw. Josh was now wearing an outfit identical to the angry woman. A clingy grey tunic under a black fleece vest, black leggings, and black Ugg boots. He even had the same dyed-blonde bob cut. It was the standard uniform of the bitchy soccer mom set and now it was on her boyfriend. He was also patting down the front of his leggings and Jenn could see that his crotch was now completely flat.
"Josh... what?!" was all she could get out.
"Who's Josh?" he said with genuine confusion. "Is that some new slur like 'Karen' you kids are throwing around? I'll have you know our name is Bethany Adams and our husband is a lawyer."
The woman chimed in, as though she was finishing Josh's thought, "And if you mess with us we'll see to it he makes your life a living hell."
Jenn was stunned. She had no idea what buttons she'd pressed and how this had happened. She hadn't even been thinking about any change. Other than his new equipment Josh's body seemed the same. He still had Jenn's height from the earlier swap, and the breasts she had copied to him had reached their full size, now supported by a bra and outlined by the tighter tunic. But otherwise he seemed physically himself.
Jenn was frozen. She didn't dare bring the remote back out. The woman had nearly overpowered her before, there's no way she could take on her and Josh. Before she should gather her thoughts another voice called from up the street.
"Mom! Mom! Is that you? What are you doing over here?" Josh and the woman both turned towards the voice. Jenn saw a girl, around 7 or 8, coming down the sidewalk.
"Hi sweetie!" the woman said. "Everything's fine."
"Mommy was just having a conversation," Josh said. He turned to Jenn, "Isn't that right?"
"Uh... yeah," Jenn muttered.
"Come on sweetheart, let's go home," Josh said. "It's getting cold out here. And I'm sure Daddy is waiting for us." Josh and Bethany each took one of the girl's hands and all three started walking back towards the cafe.
Jenn shook the shock away as best she could and pulled out the remote. She had to get to the bottom of this. Scanning the remote she quickly found a button labeled "Recent History" and pressed it. The display lit up, showing all the changes that just happened.

So somehow, in the scuffle with the Bethany, the remote had copied her life onto Josh. Then it copied Jenn's vagina onto Beth, which also applied to Josh since he now had her life, and then the awareness settings had been messed up so neither of them noticed the swap. But they did notice the copy? This was getting confusing. It didn't help that half the buttons were missing labels.
But when Jenn looked up she realized Josh was getting farther away. She had no idea where this woman lived. She'd have to act fast to try and get Josh back to normal! She could try to follow them, or maybe a quick swap would get her closer and help her blend in. Or maybe her sister Kira could help, she was a tech wizard and might be able to unlock more features of the remote.
