"Excuse me." Jenn and Josh both heard from behind them and as they turned around the saw nobody standing there waiting to for them to answer a question. They both looked around and saw a woman with a 'Karen' looking haircut looking to get some attention at the counter. "Can I get some service over hear?" She called out to the seemingly empty looking counter. Both Josh and Jenn could see Zoe and Cliff, the workers of the Caffeinated Moose, rushing from the back to find who was making the ruckus up front.
Sensing that everything was about to get turned upside down, Josh and Jenn hurriedly made their way outside to get to and area where they can take turns giving each other various experiences. Finally getting to the car, Josh hopped into the driver's seat and started up the car to get the heat going. "So what did you think about the locker room experience that I gave you?" Josh asked with a wink of his eye as Jenn started to get seated on her side of the car.
The look on her face didn't seem as embarrassed as it was earlier. "It was weird, you know." She started while Josh backed out of the parking spot. "Since it was your experience, I was looking through your eyes and feeling what you felt in that point in time." Remembering back, she could still see all the boys in their various points of undressing. Each time she tried to focus on somebody, her view would shift. "I mean, each time I tried to focus on somebody." She felt her cheeks getting warm again. "Each time I tried to focus on somebody, the scene would shift."
Thinking about it for a moment, Josh started to nod his head. "That would make sense." He started. "I mean think about it. The one thing that no guy wants to do is to linger too long on somebody else. That would be the perfect opportunity for you to get beaten up in High School. Especially the guys at our High School." Thinking back to the numerous times he'd seen people picked on just for being different. The jocks at the school were certainly merciless at teasing and leaving marks in locations where the would be unnoticed. He was certainly thankful being able to stay under the radar during that time of his life.
"I guess I can see it like that." Jenn replied back as she let out a sigh. "What about you?" She asked wondering what she had forced him to go through when she copied the experience over to him.
Driving through the traffic with little to no effort, Josh thought back to what Jenn had copied over to him. "I can agree with you on the focusing part. But I can certainly remember feeling everything that she felt during her... you know..." He didn't want to say it, but knew that Jenn would understand. "I guess I can say that I'm glad that you didn't copy anything else."
Not completely knowing what he was getting at, Jenn looked over at him. "What do you mean?" She asked, trying to get more information.
"Well think about it." Josh started as he pulled into the mall parking lot. "If you had copied over her childhood experiences, all of mine would have been overwritten and think about how that would have impacted my personality or even our relationship."
"I didn't think about that." Jenn replied back while unbuckling her seat belt. "But I bet you can certainly show me a great time now." She giggled. Together they made their way though the semi full parking lot to the warmth of the mall. "So do you think we should give each other these experiences or should we just do it ourselves?" She asked trying to figure out what they were going to do when they get inside.
