A small monster out in the wilds

Its the survival of the fittest, and these smaller monsters are normally not the main targets of the average monster hunter, although with the changes creeping their way through out the wilds, how long will it be before the ecosystem gets its head turned upside down, as the weaker monsters might find themselves to shift the world as their own bodies have?

Do you want to follow the story of a Genprey, a theropod Bird Wyvern (not the feathery kind) that has a paralizing affect to their bites as they come in contact with another of their kind, the one that got away from the hunters by... interesting means?

Perhaps a Growing male Kelbi. deer like creatures of prey, but with this one having enough of that and with the gift of the corruption reaching them and morphing them into something more hunter like?

Or maybe the story of a head strong Bullfango, aggressive small boar like monsters that time and time again has proven to be a nuisance to all hunters since the dawn of time, with one picking a fight with a corrupted monster and having a new attitude adjustment in turn?

Maybe instead of those, Perhaps see how the corruption would affect a Aptonoth, large prey that are normally hunted by too many, and will find new meaning in life thanks to the corrupted virus that spreads through out the wilds?
