What Mei sees in those few moments is initially a bit of light, then everything turns pink and finally everything becomes dark. The heat and softness of Bliss reached her immediately and then made room for a destructive force: her weight. Joy and others would never allow themselves to make similar insinuations but Bliss is quite chubby, like all Blisseys, and her cute and soft appearance is very deceiving. The force that is exerted becomes increasingly greater so much so that Mei is completely blocked and crushed between Bliss's paw and the floor. Slowly she sinks into the pink pad, the pain begins to accumulate and Mei panics.
"Doesn't hydrogen peroxide solve everything?" "No, Bliss. Humans are more complex to take care of than you Pokemon, but let's hope we don't have to use anything else because it would mean that someone has hurt a human very badly." Joy replies to Bliss "Yes! I can't believe that some Pokemon could hurt you, it would be too cruel" "I know Bliss, but sometimes even accidents happen." Bliss stops for a moment and thinks about Joy's words, swaying slightly left and right.
Like a pendulum, Mei feels Bliss's weight increase, her lungs empty and she's about to explode into a red smear, and then the same force diminishes, giving her an extra second to live. She tries to crawl under her sole and move just enough to catch some air to survive or at least get noticed by Bliss.
Bliss has a thoughtful look and continues to reflect on Joy's words, but senses a small annoyance underneath her. Her friend looks at her from above her position and decides to move and come down on her shoulder to hug her. There Bliss is taken by surprise. "Don't worry, you're very good at assisting us every day. Accidents won't happen as long as you're around." Bliss smiles and blushes again at Joy.
Mei now feels the pain again and it's stronger, but it's so strong that she is completely stunned, maybe some bones are breaking or maybe she is already dead, but she doesn't realize it yet. The fact is that she is now completely at the mercy of events and only a miracle could save her.
