Lily shook her head to bring herself back to the present. She was tired but exerted herself to finish what she started. She got up from her seat and noticed unpleasantly that her pants had dark gray stains from the dust. She dusted it off with a couple of pats, then went to the far side of the room and opened the only window.
The stagnant air of the room was moved by the fresh air coming in from outside. Lily saw that she first had to get rid of the thick layer of dust that had settled in the room.
Not long after, the front door swung open. The large door pushed the air in front of it, which whistled through Lily's open bedroom door and left through the window. With that, the air turned gray from the sudden amount of dust flying into the air.
Lily sneezed loudly as she rubbed her watery eyes with her hands. At that moment, a loud bang and an air movement in the opposite direction to the previous one, but a little smaller, indicated the closing of the door again. As the girl stepped out of her door a little to breathe fresh air until the cloud of dust swirling in the room subsided and to see what had happened. She couldn't see the front door from the door of her room, but she could hear loud footsteps and other human sounds and noises only in a giant version. Then her other brother Max appeared in a corner.
The spindly boy was wearing grass-stained blue shorts and a T-shirt. The ends of his hair were a little damp from the sweat and thus stuck to his face and neck. His skin also glistened from the moisture of sweat. His huge bare soles clattered loudly on the floor with every step.
Lily rarely saw her family since she moved out. So it was quite a shock for her to see Cody again. After all, the boy grew diligently (befitting a good giant). This was also true for Max, but in his case it was multiplied by a hearty teenage hormone. The boy may have been at his most intense growth spurt. After all, the clothes on the boy were apparently smaller than his size.
In Lily's shock at the sight of her older little brother, she forgot to breathe for a moment. When she did that, she smelled the sweaty smell of the teenage boy. She grimaced and began to wonder if she would be able to move out again before Cody was completely overwhelmed by hormones too.
Cody ran to his brother with loud, earthquake-like footsteps. He could barely stop because his feet slipped on the floor and he bumped into Max. Max swayed a little from the impact, but quickly regained his balance. He then looked up at his brother with sparkling eyes.
"Lily finally came home!" He said excitedly. Now that Lily was not in his palm, but much further away, the boy's voice was understandable and sounded more childish.
Max then looked at Lily with his huge eyes. When the boy saw his sister, he flashed his snow-white teeth. Then he took a long thunderous step towards her and called out loudly. "HI SIS!"
Max wasn't used to his sister's closeness anymore, so he didn't pay attention to his voice. What Lily felt was as if she was standing in front of the huge speakers at a big concert, half a step away, when someone screamed into the microphone. The sound shook her guts. Then a palm much larger than Cody's came down in front of her. The long fingers moved softly up and down.
