"So what's this?" Shelby asks.
"It's a video game," Clyde said.
"I know. I meant what kind of video game?"
"It's one you play by putting it into a console and on a video device."
Shelby groaned audibly. All the game's description said was that it was about putting yourself through a grand adventure, reshaping the player in all imaginable ways. AKA: the most vague and unhelpful description ever. And the title "The Magic Blade" didn't suggest what it could be, and the cover art was just a picture of what could be presumed to be that magic blade.
"Eh, whatever. I'll buy it." It was only 10 bucks, so not the worst deal if it was bad.
She returned home to her apartment where her roommate, Ashley, was in. Sitting in her usual spot on the floor in front of the tv.
"Hey Ashley, I'm back."
"Mm. Hey Shelby."
Ashley was a gamer at heart. She dedicated all her time playing both the most popular and most obscure video games she could get her hands on. Real life to her was only a compliment to her gaming habits. She wore only the minimum amount of clothes possible (usually a tank top and some panties) and never kept her long hair in order. However, she wasn't an idiot thought. She still showered regularly and ate a healthy diet, since she can't play games as effectively if she gets sick, so despite her lazy life style she was in peak health. She had a thin waist line, healthy skin, and as messy as her hair was, it was always silky and shiny. She only faced a few 'problems' with her body. She had to wear a large pair of round glasses due to all her time in front of the screen, which just made her look cuter. Her thighs were quite thick due to not using them much, but again, that just made her look good. And finally, her breasts: easily the most massive pair Shelby had ever seen. They were bigger than both Ashley's own head and the reason she played on the floor was so she could rest her massive assets on the coffee table and save her shoulders their pain. On them, her tank top looked more like a loose sports bra.
That killer body and her secret intelligence made Shelby develop a crush on Ashley as soon as she moved in with her. However, Shelby had yet to work up to courage to ask her out yet. She had always been an extroverted girl, having fun going out to parties and hanging out with friends. However, despite all that, she had no experience with romance due to never finding anyone who interested her until now. Combined with the fact that she and Ashley seemed to be complete opposite personalities. Whereas Ashley was a quiet, introverted, gamer, Shelby was a trendy, extroverted, socialite who never even touched a video game in her life. Not only that, compared to Ashley, Shelby's body was like a plank of wood, with modest b cups and thin legs. No fat on her body, although she wished she had a little bit in some places next to Ashley.
Today though, she would finally try to connect with her roommate. She pushed a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear and worked up her confidence. "So, I went to this shop earlier today. It had a bunch of, like, totally crazy stuff for sale."
"Hm. Like what?"
The fact that Ashley showed just a teeny bit of interest was enough to excite Shelby. She sat down next to her on the floor. "Well, they had this video game on sale. I thought you might be interested in it."
Ashley looked over to the game that Shelby was showing to her. "The Magic Blade. Never heard of it. Is it a new release?"
New release? Does that mean brand new? "Uhh... I guess so? You'd totes know more about that than me."
"Hm."
So who will play the Magic Blade: The Video Game?
