Feeling the adrenaline pumping and your head spinning from the excitement, you decide that your recommended amount of REM cycles can wait a few hours longer. You exit your room and check the hall for Olivia. Not seeing her, you muse that she went back to her room not long after you went into yours. Either that or she went downstairs to watch the movie.
You speedwalk down the hall towards Olivia's room, with the idea of body-swapping still buzzing around your head. Would swapping actually work? How would it feel being Olivia? You've always found her rather attractive. Before you know it, you're snapped out of your trance as you come face to face with Olivia's door. After knocking on it, Olivia answers almost too eagerly.
"Well, look who's come crawling back to admit defeat," she says confidently.
"Not interested in games right now. I got something you need to see," you quickly reply, "Come to my room right now."
Olivia, confused but intrigued, agrees and the two of you make your way down to your room. You show her the remote and explain all of the details. After listening to your explanation, Olivia pauses in silence for a moment, then speaks up.
"So you're saying that this remote has the ability to make two individuals swap bodies, and somehow also has advanced reality-warping powers? I don't believe you."
"Come on 'Liv! You know what crazy stuff goes down in Dr. K's lab! It might be the real deal. There's only one way to find out."
Olivia, realizing that she just unknowingly talked her way into potentially swapping bodies with you, tries to walk it back.
"Okay, so it MIGHT work, but I feel like testing it right now would be a bad idea."
"What about it being a bad idea? We can always switch back right after we see it work. Also, it's Friday, not like we have anything going on tomorrow," you note.
