Welcome to the Manic Mansion

    by: Hole Author IconMail Icon
After turning off your car, you get out an inspect the empty field.

"Are you sure this is the right address?" you hear your girlfriend Lira say from the other side of the car.

You pulled the paper out of your jacket pocket. "It definitely. But this is the only place on the road with no buildings. And every other one is abandoned," you say. You drove you and your girlfriend all the way out here after hearing about inheriting a distant relative's mansion. However when you ended up driving into what looked to be a ghost town, you had hoped that it at least would end up being some real estate scheme you could make some real money out of. But the only property you found was this large open field where a mansion would be.

Lira sighs as she walks up next to you. "Face it Sydney, we were scammed."

"Oh come on, Liri. I might have the address wrong, but what kind of scam involves leading us to a bogus address?" you ask.

"Oh I don't know. Maybe attracting two cute girls in the middle of nowhere so they can be kidnapped without anyone noticing?"

"So you think I'm cute, huh?" you say playfully. You wrap your arm around Lira.

"Sid, focus! This is no time for flirting," Lira protests as she pushes you off.

"You started it," you tease.

"Stating the obvious isn't flirting," Lira says.

You giggled at her remark. But as much as you liked teasing her, she had a point. You were stranded in the middle of no where, left with what was likely now a phony address. You sighed. "Alright. I guess we can head ba-"

You were interrupted by the ground suddenly shaking. It was periodic, like the t-rex stomping from that one movie. Then from behind the hill rose a head. A very massive head. Below it rose a body attached to it. You and Lira watched a giantess, made of wood, stone, and glass rose up and walked towards you. You instinctively stand in front of Lira, who clings to your arm in fear, although you aren't sure what you can do against a 50 foot giantess.

The giantess then fell down on the ground, her large breasts proving to be surprisingly soft cushions to catch her fall. Her head was raised and looked down on you and Lira.

"Are you Sydney?" the giantess asks.

"Y-y-yes?" you say nervously. Lira peaked from behind your shoulder.

"Ah, good. I am the Lorraine Mansion. Although you can call me Lorraine."

"Lorraine? Wait, that's the mansion I was supposed to inherit."

"Correct. My last owner decided to leave me to you in her will, so now I am yours," Lorraine said.

"Wow," you said. So not only did you inherit a new house for you and your girlfriend to live in, but she was also a hot giant lady.

"Excuse me, Lorraine," Lira said, come out from behind you. "If you're a house with an owner, how did your...previous owner come to own you?"

"Oh that," Lorraine said. "Her and your family have actually owned me for quite a long time. She inherited me from her own mother, who inherited me from her father, and so on."

"And how did they afford to keep you? I'm sure a nice big mansion like you can't be cheap to own," Lira said.

Lorraine giggles at the accidental complement. "Thank you. But you're right. To afford to own me, your family has rented out many of my rooms to tenants."

"Tenants?" you ask.

"What kind of tenants?" Lira asked.

"Well, you probably can tell that I'm kept alive and moving thanks to magic. That magic also connects me to multiple different worlds, where I exist simultaneously, making me a portal connecting those worlds together. Your family got the idea to rent my rooms to different people of those worlds for money. That's how they earned their wealth."

"And we-er- Sydney will get that rent money now too?"

"Of course."

Lira, now fully filled with excitement in place of her fear from earlier jumped in front of you. "Did you hear that Sid? This is our ticket to the life we wanted."

"I know. I told ya that before we left, didn't I?" you said smugly.

"Th-that was before you knew you were inheriting a magic living house," Lira said.

"Yeah yeah." You walked up to Lorraine. "Alright, let us in so we can see inside you. I'd like to meet these other worldly tenants of ours."

"Very well," Lorraine said. "You have the key." You pulled out the key from your pocket. "Good. Then welcome home, mistress," Lorraine said. She placed her chin on the ground and opened her mouth. Her wooden tongue rolled out onto the ground in front of you, revealing it to just be a set of stairs. You and Lira cautiously climbed up the stairs into the house woman's mouth, until you came up to a door at the back of her mouth. You held up the key and inserted it into the door, unlocked it, opened the door. You and Lira entered the house and saw what was inside.
