The book's covers and spine were entirely blank. Melona flipped to a random page in the tome, and found it was entirely blank as well. Same thing for the next page. And the next. And every other page that Melona could find.
This wasn't unheard of, but it was unusual. The book had the exact dimensions and heft of a grimoire of higher-level magic, and the materials that were used to construct it seemed like they'd be incredibly expensive, but the book was completely devoid of any markings. She supposed it could be intended for use as a notebook, journal, or something along those lines, but that didn't answer the question of why it was so large, why it was so fancy, or why it was in her room of all places.
