This choice: Who cares? Do your friend a solid • Go Back... ...It's Stephanie Adams, of all people. Why should you care if you ruin her life? Not like she hasn't ruined her fair share, and she's only 17. Taking her down a peg while lifting your best friend up sounds like a win-win to you.
"You got it," you say.
"Really? Nice!" says Devin, pumping a fist in the air.
"Yeah, yeah, now quick and swap back with me."
"Sure! Dude if you can do this for me, I owe you so much!" Devin bounces back up and gives you a peck on the lips, swapping you back into Jessica's body once more. Devin stretches. "Whew! Only been a couple of minutes but it's downright weird to be me again. Alright Er--uh, Jess! See ya 'round!"
As Devin darts off, you feel yourself flooded with equal parts relief and apprehension. You're half-surprised he wasn't downright evil about it. Of course, now you've basically roped yourself into a scheme of his, and that may have been a mistake, but then again, given the whole premise of this plan is centered on body-swapping, it's not as though either of you will get caught. Although if she makes a big stink about it, Stephanie might. You smirk. Wouldn't that be hilarious?

"I'm sorry, you did WHAT?" exclaims Jessica as you eat lunch with her.
"Look, I know, I know! It was dumb, I'm sorry!" you say frantically. "It's just, he's my best friend and I wanted him to believe me and it's not like I'd have let him keep your body either way. I could have taken it back by force if it really came down to it."
"Oh my god, Er--ugh. That is so not the point!"
"Look, I know, I know what you're point is, you're not wrong, but now he knows and I can't make him un-know. So I'm sorry. Seriously, Jess, I mean it."
Jessica takes a deep breath, and releases an equally deep sigh. "You're letting this go to your head a little, you know that? It's gonna bite you if you start using your power like a toy."
"It's not gonna get that far, hon," you assure her. "But I made a promise, so I need to at least get Devin Stephanie Adams' body, and there's not a chance she'll even give me the time of day if I'm in my normal body. So, any ideas?"
"If you give her mine you're not getting yours back," says Jessica. "I'm not dealing with the fallout of whatever she does as Jess."
"Jessica I wouldn't even dream of giving Stephanie your body. I'm just asking if you have any other ideas. Like, does she have a boyfriend?"
Jess shrugs. "Plenty of guys ask her out, but with her standards? No idea."
"Okay, well, you have gym together, right?"
"What happened to--"
"I'm just thinking about the other girls, who else is there?"
Jess sighs. "So what, you're gonna let some other random girl run around in your body? And besides, you'll have to kiss whoever it is you want to use to get close."
"Doesn't have to be romantic," you say. "Remember, the last time you and I swapped it was just a peck."
"...Whatever. Look, honestly? This is a bad plan and you shouldn't do it. It's gonna backfire on you. I don't want that to happen, I really don't, but I'm not getting involved in this."
Your turn to sigh. "Alright, fair enough. ...You done with those fries?"

Later that evening, you sit on your bed, back in your normal body. A bit of a shame, since you were starting to like Jessica's, but keeping it was never in the cards. And at this point, you'll consider yourself lucky if she even lets you borrow it again. But you still have no idea how you're going to get close to Stephanie. You know Jessica is right, and not only is this plan wrong but also poorly-conceived. And there are plenty of ways it could go wrong. But at the same time, you'd be doing quite a few people a good service, not just Devin. A sort of vengeance for the people Stephanie has gotten expelled in her three years at your school.
