Ochako was on her way home from school before summer break. Most of her friends had plans but embarrassingly for Ochako she had to decline because of her family's tight financial situation. Money had always been tight in her family, it was why she choose the career path she had. Just as Ochako was stressing about this she passed an electronic billboard showcasing the country's hero rankings. In recent months it has been absolutely topped by heroes who have given into the new "bimbo" craze. Seeing this only brought more stress to the hero in training. Ochako was unsure how to feel about people undergoing such a drastic change and she certainly was too nervous to want to undergo something like that herself. On the other hand, society around her seemed to be embracing them. Topping the hero charts (and by extension making the money her family needed) was barely possible now unless you were a bimbo, given their popularity. Ochako was about to make her debut as professional hero and she knew she needed any edge she could get. All of this only worsened the stress she was already feeling over her family's financial situation as she looked up at the billboard filled with curvy dimwitted female heroes already knowing what she had to do.
Ochako had to accept what she had known for awhile now: becoming a bimbo hero was the best path for her and her parents. As she tried to resolve herself to undergoing the transformation over her summer break another issue dawned on her and that was the cost. She had heard the procedures could be very expensive when done by a reputable clinic. She could go to one anyway and see if maybe they had financing options (or other payment methods Ochako preferred not to consider). She had heard that sometimes the government might also help.
