To the Public Smiling Tony was a funny and charitable businessman. He came from old mob families but those days were over. Smiling Tony actually helped the FBI capture and put away the last of the great mobsters and gangsters of old era.
Some would call this a lie…In truth…A deal was made.
Smiling Tony did in fact take down all those old gangsters. He helped the cops get every last one of them. Except for him…
Once they were all gone all of their illegal money and assets Tony Seized for himself. Countless amounts of wealth, drugs and weapons.
The FBI was no fool. They knew Exactly what Tony was. However their deal was he would be left alone and untouched. The cops figured one mobster running things was easier to control them dozens fighting each other.
They were right…mostly. For over a decade Smiling Tony grew his empire and eventually moved to Las Vegas and he opened Paradise.
However what the public didn’t see was how ruthless Tony was. He could kill any competitor who dared to move in on him. Buy off and bribe any cops or judges he needed to.
