Your name is Rax. Since you were a mere child you had always lived within the anthro tribe with your parents. For many years your father advised the chief of the tribe and your mother helped teach the females of the tribe about the ways of medicine. Both your parents were respected and loved by the tribe, but they were always busy and rarely had time for you. However, when they made time it was always special.
Things couldn't have been any better. Until that day fateful day when the tribe was invaded. A tribe from the north had come down from the mountains and seek to conquer their neighbors. The fight was long and horrible. You had managed to stay safe within a tribe member's tent. Your parents however were killed. Crushed beneath the heels of the fleeing tribe members or the raiders. No one knew who it was who killed them.
It had been many years since that day. You had taken after your father when it came to talking with the tribe chief or elders. Despite being eighteen years old you were quite mature when it came to being an advisor for your tribe.
However, most days I could be a little lazy. Sleeping was one of my favorite pass times. I was doing my favorite hobby right now. Sleeping the afternoon away in my human size hut that my parents built years ago. It was located between two anthro huts for safety purposes of course.
