July 31st, the expo had begun. It was held in a massive open air stadium with small hangers built right beneath the bleachers where the crowd was sitting in anticipation. There were also multiple rooms and podiums within the stadium for visitors to see along the way where they could view displays made by Kaijuin and other participating companies to see what they had in store, other than the mecha girls of course.
After a while of waiting and preparation, the hanger doors were open and the participating mecha girls were unveiled.
The first to step out were obviously the home team: Botzilla, Botorah, and Mothbot.
After them were the two mechas from Uber Corp. The large and silent Dora stepped out first. One of the first mechas to be built was a prestigious sight to behold. Beside her was her sister mecha, Anna. Anna was more average sized but looked relatively short compared to Dora. They both brandished Uber Corp's signature aesthetic of construction machines, maintaining an image of civil machines rather than military machines, all without sacrificing any of their feminine looks.
In comparison, Koloss's representative, Katyusha, didn't hide its status as a weapon at all. Katyusha was painted in military green with only the occasional red star adding and color variety. She likely would've displayed her weapons if it weren't for the expo's rules. Despite her militaristic look, she still sported an alluring mechanical figure aside from her bulky limbs.
Shanghai Robotics from China sent their first mecha girl, Li Min. The red painted mecha girl was the poster child of the company, for good reason too. She was a beautifully built for such a short development cycle and had many martial arts techniques programmed into her. Her body was obviously made to be as stunning to look at while still maintaining physical strength and flexibility.
The two American mecha companies each sent one mecha of their own. Hemtec sent Am-1, her stylish look made her an eye-catcher, as she was designed to do. Despite her near impractical beauty, she was still one of the mechas that Kaijuin told their mechas to look out for. BULWARK decided to send Carolina. The highly weaponized mecha bore a bright red, white, and blue color scheme, making her American origins obvious. Her over exaggerated proportions on her body were deceptive in rather than being impractical instead stored most of her firepower.
Emirate Electronics sent Fatima. The mecha girl wore a metal dress and head scarf that were painted black and were covered entirely with corporate sponsors. That said though, the dress was more than just a glorified billboard but also concealed and protected all her weapons and technology, despite how tight fitting it seemed.
Last to be revealed was Royal Robotics' Victoria. She wore a suit of armor that both showed off her figure and disguised her robotic details. She was all grey except for some sections where medieval english imagery were painted on. But since the armor's shape didn't matter on a large mecha, she still maintained an attractive look on her body.
Eleven mechas in one place was enough to mark this event as a major accomplishment and indicated just how much was in store for the viewers and how much Kaijuin's participants had to do.
After the opening ceremony ends, the Kaijuin International Mecha Girl Exhibition will officially begin. One of he first events will be...
