Okay, how about

Beth Sampson: Beth thinks she's fat. She's not, she is a little curvy, it's just her freinds are all supermodel skinny and she looks like a normal woman, so in her mind she's fat. She also has an interest in magic, so when she finds a spell that can make her "Smaller" she doesn't hesitate to use it, expecting that it would cause her to lose weight... only to find that in fact she loses height, while her weight remains constant, but seeming bigger on her new, smaller frame. Can she fix her mistake or is she stuck as a shortstack?
