Mark was late. He left home too late and had to go further than he remembered. So he walked faster than usual. But he couldn't do anything else. The boy had a good reputation and he didn't want to spoil it with a delay.
The neighborhood shook loudly from his footsteps. However, he kept away from houses and roads while walking. He looked around to make sure he was going in the right direction, then started again with determined steps. He looked up at the sky and confirmed with satisfaction that he would get there in time.
When he saw that he was getting close, he slowed down because he didn't want to make a bad impression on his customers. Which fortunately was difficult for him, because most people were charmed by the boy's smile and his bright eyes shining from under his light, always messy hair. He was handsome and understood people well. According to his teachers, he doesn't use his mind properly, which was true when it came to studying. Mark was intelligent and creative from childhood, but he was more interested in the practical side of life.
That is why he has been working for several years and was proud of being good at what he does. Márk is likeable, funny, and gets along with others easily. So when he was younger, he was once asked to look after one of the children in the neighborhood. After they spent a day together, the little boy liked him so much that his parents only called Mark if they needed to look after him. Since then, Mark has been working as a babysitter alongside school.
Mark took the last few steps with careful, soft steps and finally arrived. He arrived on time and avoided destroying anything in his haste. He was very proud of himself.
He was standing behind a house from which a man and a woman had just exited.
"Good day Mr. and Mrs. Berett." He greeted them politely.
"Serbian Mark. I'm glad to meet you. I hope everything will be alright." Mrs. Berett said and she and her husband got into the car and drove away. Since it was impossible for someone not to notice his presence and because of his size, knocking was out of the question, the boy got down on all fours above the house, careful not to crush the neighborhood and waited for the child or children to come out of the house.
