The paved streets and tamed wilderness clued you in to what region this probably was. Unova a place based on the United States. A region that gets its fair share of criticism for having some of the more unorthodox Pokemon. Though it also has a few of your favorites. Overall it probably has one of the highest percentage of original Pokemon, so it would naturally have both the liked and disliked.
Although now, much to your chagrin, you could count yourself amongst the ranks of Unova's Pokemon.
By the side of the street in a secluded corner, you saw a parked car. Hopping with relative ease, you jumped into the hood and checked out you reflection on the windshield.
While studying your reflection, you admitted that you kind of looked like a mix between Zapdos and Hawlucha. Your body had shape of the mythical Mothman. A bird like humanoid with big eyes and wings. But your appearance was akin to the legendary Thunderbird a storm raptor from Native American folklore.
So you basically were a birdman with talons for feet and draping wings that extended from your arms and legs. You had a mixture of silver, gold, and light blue colors. Additionally you could see a spark of electricity jump from one sharp feather to another every once in a while.
While doing poses in front of the glass you were distracted by a couple of pidove that decided to land besides you. Standing face to face to the tiny pigeon Pokemon, you could see that you were slightly shorter than them. You tried to scared them off, but they didn't seem to be intimidated by you.
That said they took flight not long after. Although it wasn't because of you. As you turn to see a purrloin eying you with a hungry look. You immediately took off running, but the cat Pokemon caught up pretty easily every time.
Soon it was apparent that it was playing with you before striking. Eventually you ran into a dead end with nowhere to go. Cornered by the feline, you panicked as it leapt at you. It was then that you figure out something new, you could fly.
In your fear, you took off to the air, and escaped from the now angry Pokemon. Free in the air, you soar over the terrain looking for a good spot to land. Not used to flying, your muscles were starting to get sore so you picked a window sill to land at.
