Chapter #5

A Terran university

    by: Hole Author IconMail Icon
"The Terrans?!" Viora yelled. She couldn't maintain her composure upon hearing she had been assigned to work for such a primitive species.

"Yes. You will be teaching at Oxvale University. A prestigious college on the planet of Earth," the councilor said.

Viora grunted but knew there was nothing to do but accept her new order. "Fine. I'll start preparations to move immediately."

"Thank you Viora. Goodbye." The message cut out.

Viora left her current task and went to her personal living quarters. Once she was home she fell into bed and started crying into her pillow. To be brought to such a low position made her miserable.

A week later

Viora's transport ship landed at the Earth space port. She got off and took in the sight of so many aliens in front of her. Most of then were Terrans of course, but the xenophilic Terran culture meant there were many other species too. As she made her way through, Viora couldn't help but spot many stares at her, particularly at her chest. No doubt they were shocked to see an Encirion outside one of their stations. Or maybe they were just staring at her three breasts. They were quite large by standards of most other species, and there were three of them, one above the galactic average. Viora ignored them and made it to the space elevator to be transported to the surface, where she would be flown to Oxvale University.

As soon as she arrived, she was greeted by a the Vice Chancellor, Chancellor, and various other officials who ran the college. "Greetings Pr Viora. We have been waiting for you," the Vice Chancellor said, an old Terran male.

"I know," Viora said bluntly. "You did hire me after all."

"W-well, we're glad you arrived safely."

"With your people's primitive transportation, it's a wonder I arrived at all."

"What did you say?" a younger, fatter male Terran said angrily. The vice chancellor raised his hand to silence him.

"Remember why we have invited her," the VC said quietly to his associate. The large Terran backed off.

"I understand your desire for formalities," Viora said, "But I'd rather move things along. What will you have me teaching?"

"Well," the chancellor, a short older female Terran, said, "You won't just be teaching. Profesors also do research in their subjects as well."

Great, more children's projects for her, Viora thought.

"I believe I heard that you don't have a specialization to any research field?" the VC asked.

"No Encirion researcher is 'specialized'. Are education is so efficient that we all are experts in every field of science. Including ones you haven't discovered yet," Viora bragged.

The Oxvale staff nodded impressed. "Well, in that case, we were hoping you could work in our ______ department."
