You were riding on your hover-duster, making your rounds over the velt-plant fields. Velt is an alien plant that quickly became a common food crop after it was discovered. Its adaptability to different environments made it very easy to farm on different planets, earning it the reputation of "the potato of space," even though it looked nothing like a potato. If anything it looked more like pink wheat plants, in your opinion.
