You glanced at the nametag that clipped on the fabric of the person's shirt, indicating that they were official employees of the cruise ship. You stayed polite and answered back, "No, I'm alright. Just looking out in the distance, taking in the view of the ocean. It's my first time sailing and it really is quite beautiful!"
They nodded, grinning proudly, "That it is! I've been working on this cruise ship for over twenty years and the sight of pure deep blue beauty of the ocean never gets old. It's always been very special to me to be able to share the view with others makes everything worth the hard work our captain makes us do."
You smile brightly, nodding in agreement, "I bet it does."
"Anyway, please don't let me keep you from enjoying the sights! Enjoy the next few hours before we arrive in Coumarine City," the crew member said warmly before he turned to face the front of the ship, returning to his duties and leaving you alone to continue gazing at the ocean. Your gaze drifted back to stare at the horizon for a little while longer, staring back down to the surface of the water before turning away to head back towards your cabin.
For the next few hours, you stayed in your cabin, and spent some quality time with your Pokémon, petting their fur and playing games together. Eventually, the ship slowed and pulled into port. As the captain announced that they had arrived in Coumarine City, you packed up your things and exited your room onto the main floor. The halls were bustling with activity as everyone disembarked and went outside to stretch their legs. You followed suit, grabbing a hold of your bag and making sure you had everything you needed. You headed for the exit doors and stepped out onto the pier.
There was an air of excitement in the town that greeted you as soon as you emerged from the building, which only increased further once you saw the towering structure of the lighthouse standing tall in the background. Further in the distance, you could see a fancy hotel where many people were running there, trying to make their way inside the building or out into one of the nearby parks. You smiled happily at the sight, excited for what was ahead of you.
