The Guild of Heroes, a common place where every adventurer or explorer in the area come to meet other pokemon in order to form teams; take contracts to rescue people in danger or to take down fierce criminals; or for people like Alexander, as a hub for couriers to receive and deliver their transporting contracts.
But that wasn't the only thing the guild was know for, as it also housed a research facility where various scientists, biologists and such gathered to investigate about the pokemon biology, the fauna and flora of the region and most importantly the mystery dungeons, the strange anomalies that housed powerful wild pokemons and all kinds of ancient artifacts. The guild also had a trading center, where various merchants from all over the continent came to sell their goods but also buy any interesting objects that explorers bring from their expeditions into the dungeons.
The guild was overall a fantastic place, but Alexander never failed to wonder why they had to build it on top on a mountain and with the only way to get there being a very long set of stairs that go through the entire mountain risk. The insufferable way to the top make the riolu wish to be a flying type, as his poor legs always ended up sore from the walk. After surviving the climb, Alex went through the guild's entrance to find the familiar sight of a big hall with pokemon of all types chatting and going on by their days. In the middle of the room stood the reception with a chansey behind the desk, the riolu knew the receptionist as Lisva, a very helpful lady that served as a guide for new people to the guild and a intermediary for couriers like Alexander, she was also the one to ask for when creating new teams.
Now the question was where to go, fortunately, the riolu had some ideas.
He had a friend in the research wing called Silc, a inteleon who was formerly a great adventurer but later decided to dedicate himself to science instead and became one of the top researchers rather quickly. Alex had worked for him by delivering highly important packages to other scientists, and in the meantime he proved himself trustworthy to Silc. Maybe if he visits the inteleon, he can help him understand these new powers.
On other hand, he could go to the trading centre as he may find all sorts of pokemon from far away in there.
