Okay, a few chapters back I suggested a version of the story where Nancy is transformed against her will because Mike is evil, what if we flip the script.
Perhaps, resentful of her brother's intelligence, Nancy has tormented Mike for years, and when he realises the potential of his nanites, perhaps the oppertunity for human trials and revenge on his tormentor at the same time is too tempting to pass up, but is his intention to simply knock Nancy down a peg, reverting her to human form after a certain time, or does he intend to change his sister's species permenantly.
Or perhaps, neither Mike nor Nancy are the problem, perhaps when her son shows her his newest invention, and the user friendly interface he cooked up, Mike and Nancy's mother see's an oppertunity to solve the farm's cow problem; stealing a dose of nanites set to turn a woman into a cow, and dosing her daughter.
She may have intended for Nancy to only spend a certain length of time as a cow, as Nancy and Mike would've in other branches, but perhaps she fails to take proper precautions to protect her daughter, and the original story's plotline will play out, with Nancy falling pregnant and sealing her fate.
Or perhaps the sibling's mother realises Nancy will likely not take what was done to her lightly if she regains her human form, and resolves to keep her daughter trapped in cow form permenantly, while decieving Mike into believing she simply ran away.
Will she suceed in her mad scheme, or will Mike figure out what really happened to Nancy and save her before her fate is sealed?
