It was at this moment where Lewis was inform who he's gonna play as in this school play, and it feels like his mother wanted him to lead the role so bad. What Carla told him is he'll play as 'Lewis, the Fattest Kid in the World', and it made the boy realised what it really means straight away with a surprised look on his face.
"So does that mean I need to be bigger and fatter than any other kids in this play?" Lewis asked, looking a bit nervous since this was unexpected.
"It's exactly like that, dear!" Carla responded with a nod, as the drama teacher would give comfort to her son, trying not to worry about it. "You'll gonna be okay! Besides, I think having you bigger will be much better than your skinny self, and I love you, no matter what ever happens to you."
Having to hear his mother saying this, makes Lewis feeling humbled so much, but it was so difficult that he now has to constantly eat everything, and put on loads of pounds to take up the role, which also mean he may have give up some things he love, like soccer, and other. At least he could still play video games and take it easy, so there's some positives to think about.
But it was so difficult for Lewis, as he isn't sure if its worth the risk to do so, but he knows he wouldn't want to let his mother down for it. But on the other hand, he could maybe wondering what feeling so obese would feel and look like, and also thinking if his mother may be right that being so big would be so much better. So it took Lewis a couple of moments to think about it, and that's when he smiled and says in response to this lead role offer.
"I would love to play as a fat boy, and get fatter just for you, Mum!" Lewis giggled, and embraced for a great big hug with Carla.
"I'm just so happy for you, and I'm sure you're gonna look great when we can work you up all the way." Carla responded as she embraced her son for a moment before letting go for now. "I'll let the teachers know all about this, so they know why you're gaining weight from now on. And maybe later on, I can take you to..."
