“I’m afraid there’s no hope for him,” the doctor states in a resigned tone as he shattered Izuku’s world.
“No! There must be some mistake!” Inko states as her son looked at the floor. “The other kindergartners have all started showing signs, but….”
“I’m afraid there isn’t a mistake. The boy tested negative for all quirks,” the doctor said as he pulled out a file. “However, he did test positive for Shrinking Violets.”
“What’s Shrinking Violets?” Inko asked worriedly as her eyes drifted towards her son.
“It’s a rare condition that causes the afflicted to shrink whenever they experience stress, anxiety, embarrassment, and anger. It won’t start affecting your son until he’s older, but I felt you should know,” the doctor noticed her confused expression. “Shrinking Violets isn’t a Quirk. It’s something else that we thought disappeared decades ago.”
Izuku tuned out the rest of their conversation as his mind tried to comprehend this new information. He would never be a hero like All Might. Instead, he’ll only be able to shrink if he’s feeling bad. Could things get any worse?

“Get out of the way, shorty!” Bakugo shoves Izuku aside, causing the green-haired boy to shrink another few inches and bringing him under three feet tall. It had been a long day.
Life had only gotten more difficult for Izuku after he left the doctor’s office. His shrinking didn’t kick in until he got to middle school, and then years of repressed trauma and social anxiety left him stuck at three feet tall. Then the bullying from teachers and students started. His mother had sprung for clothing that changed with his size after coming home two feet tall once. This purchase ended up being a good investment since Izuku rarely stayed three feet tall after school.
Coming back to the present, the shrunken boy tried to make his way home. What will happen on the way?
1. Izuku decides taking the train home will be better and can get a seat. However, a sudden burst of anxiety causes him to shrink and leaves him only a few inches tall. He tries to calm himself down, but a giant woman ends up deciding to take the seemingly empty seat for herself. Will she even notice Izuku, or will he be stuck under her for the remainder of his journey?
2, Izuku walks home and is jumped by the sludge villain along the way. He would have died if All Might hadn’t saved him. Maybe Izuku can be a hero after all.
3. Izuku ends up lost after being dragged along by a group of people, but an off-duty heroine notices him. Who is it, and how will they react to the boy suffering from Shrinking Violets?
4. Izuku ends up lost after being dragged along by a group of people, but he’s noticed by a girl who wishes to attend UA. This will be her first actual test as a hero, but what will she do with Izuku?
