"Seems after the last few months of teething problems OneForAll is finally settling into your properly 9" the 1st user Yoichi Shigaraki in what Izuku called the Vestige Hall within his mind says with a kind smile
"You mean his arms got fucked nearly beyond the point of repair" Nana Shimura (Holder 7) sighs, annoyed Toshi had done such a poor job teaching the kid to control OFA, though given Torino's method of 'teaching' him was 'beat the shit out of you until you learn' she should probably be at least glad THAT method of teaching hadn't stuck with him "But I do agree you've come a long way in only a few months kid, most people have over a decade to learn to use their quirk, never mind 7" she chuckles
"Which is why we're talking to ya kid, not just to check up on you know OFA has evolved enough we can communicate with one another"Daigoro Banjo (Holder 5) states "Another of our quirks has stabilized inside you and OneForAll, enough for you to be able to access it"
Izuku's eyes bulge "Really, what is it?" he squeaks, grinning widely
"Mine" the joy left the room as the 2nd user growls, before taking his place beside Yoichi "I still don't like you all that much kid, but even I'm not gonna let you get blindsided by my quirk, it'd be as En calls it, a dick move" the mostly silent 6th user smirks behind his collar, only having Aizawa as a teacher meant Izuku was able to notice the gesture "So pay attention it's not like the others which you can turn on or off like a switch"
"I understand" Izuku nods, not seeing the point in arguing Hikage's Danger Sense quirk also didn't turn off either, mostly because the 2nd user was an angry volatile bastard... just like Kachan, so he knew better than to say anything
"My quirk is called 'Shrinking Violet' oh shut the fuck!" 2nd bellows as Banjo loses the fight with laughter and ends up on the floor, Nana and Hikage were smirking, En's shoulders were shaking in a silent chuckle and even Yoichi was smirking. 2nd sighs before continuing "My sister and I had the same quirk, her's activated 1st so she got to name it, she was also a meek little brat just like 9 so the name fit. Not so much for me but that's not the point. Shrinking Violet causes the user to incrementally compress themselves when they experience certain strong negative emotions, for me, it was anger that was my primary trigger, though I suppose stress played a factor too, my sister on the other hand would lose inches whenever she got embarrassed, which as a shy brat was often. Given how easily flustered you get 9 that's gonna be your biggest problem, as is the anxiety that's helping deal with 4's quirk"
"Anxiety is a side effect of my quirk asshole" Hikage mutters "Considering it never shuts off and alerts me to all danger around me, being anxious and paranoid are understandable consequences. He does have a point though, they will most likely be the most common trigger's for 2's quirk, mostly because you rarely seem to get truly mad at anyone really"
"Well there was Nighteye, Overhaul, Muscular, so mostly villains and assholes. Yeah, the kid is a lot calmer than someone like him should be" Nana notes, then reaches over and ruffles his hair "Keep up the good work green bean we know you can do it, also maybe you should upgrade your costume with DNA infusion so it will change while you're wearing it. Naked heroics isn't a fun as it looks" she winks just before the world fades to darkness and Izuku wakes up, feeling the hum of his new quirk in the background of his mind similar to Dangersense, only a bit more 'prickly' if that was the right word, as well as whether it was the quirk or its former owner that was the cause of said prickliness.
So what happens now?
1) Getting up for the day Izuku makes his way to the showers, unaware until he walks in the 1A girls were all bathing together. Given the group included Mina and Toru, 2 perverts just below Mineta in well perviness it's unlikely the fluff ball is going to get out of that room anytime soon, especially as the inches start dropping
2) During a joint training class with 1B Monoma is his usual self and insults every member of 1A in earshot, pissing off the entire class, Izuku most of all
3) Internships arrive once more this time Izuku being sent to work with a rather well-known Pro Heroine, and unfortunately for him his new costume hadn't been finished being worked on by the Support students, meaning he just had to avoid triggering his new quirk for the entire week. Good luck with that.
4) Given the disaster of the USJ and Summer Camp incidents, Aizawa finally has his class perform their Rescue training classes, with 3/4 of the Wild Wild Pussycats (So no Tiger) and 13. The 3 Pussycats are very pleased to see Izuku again, Pixibob most of all (Though Mandalay wants to reward the nephew's hero and Ragdoll finds the green bean adorable), wanting to give him a tongue bath, have him put some kitten in her, rest her boobs on top of his head? Oh, OH...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
