To make a run for it? That would be stupid. You are too smart to try something that would certainly kill you. And lying was not an option either, Nami caught you red handed. You couldn't fight her, you already knew that. You had no choice, but the strawhats were good people, or at least you thought so. She might forgive you if you are honest.

You swiftly went down on your knees and leaned forward, putting your forehead against the floor and you hands on either side. "I am sorry! I am so stupid for thinking i could steal from you. But I have no money, and I really needed this money. Please forgive me!"

You heard footsteps approaching you. You were not looking up. You wanted to make you apology as sincere as you could.

You started smelling Nami's tangerine perfume from her feet, it was a little sweaty though. This was no time to notice such things! You can still try to run! But your body wouldn't move, you were just too terrified.

You felt nami's shoes on your head, twisting and pressing your forehead against the floor. "Please, Nami. I swear I'll never try it again".

Nami chuckled, lifting her leg and stomping down on your head. It hurt! "Of course you won't, you excuse for a thief. You could never steal from me even if you tried. But you did try, and you have to pay for it~"
